Mermaid & Tiny Mermaid Classes!

March 5-6, 2020  -  Ages 3 to 5 and 6+

Swim Like A Mermaid and Tiny Mermaid            Catch the latest aquatics wave with a swimmable mermaid tail!

Slip your feet into the mono-fin and pull up the swimsuit-material “tail” to glide through the water like a mystical mermaid (or merman!)  Kids will improve their swimming skills, learn the basics of using a mask, and the “mermaid kick” improves core strength.

Ages 6+: for kids who can perform a front & back float, roll from front to back, tread water for 60 seconds, swim 20 yards any stroke, and perform the dolphin kick before enrolling in this class.  Fee includes two 60-minute lessons and your very own mermaid tail to keep (a $35 value!)

Ages 3-5: Toddler-size mermaid tails come without the monofin so students can stand up and have more ‘wiggle room’ to make kicking possible. Students who wear a size 3T to 5T and are comfortable in the water can join this class. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to join the lesson to assist their swimmers. BYO Tail should be a looser fitting mermaid tail, with no monofin and open bottom so that students can easily stand up

  • Be sure to include clothing size in registration, registration is due Thursday, Feb. 20 if ordering a tail.
  • Meets Thursdays/Friday, March 5-6
