The City Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC). The terms for the positions begin January 26, 2018 and end on January 25, 2021. The committee meets monthly. The following non paying positions are open:
OSAC is charged with doing everything in its power to implement the MIssoula Urban Area Open Space Plan. The committee provides the City Council with written recommendations concerning open space conservation proposals, including proposed acquisitions and trail development proposals, pursuant to the guidance of the Missoula 2006 Updated Space Plan adopted by the CIty.
Applicants for the board will interview with the City Council's Conservation Committee.
Applications are due by Wednesday, January 3, 2018 by 5 pm. Applications can be submitted online or picked up at the City Clerk Office at 435 Ryman, second floor.
