Welcome to Missoula Water, your water system, owned by the citizens of Missoula.
The public, through the City of Missoula, assumed ownership of the water and its delivery system on June 22. We’ll have a transition period of a couple of months. We’re working hard to ensure a smooth transition to public ownership.
During the transition, here is what you need to know:
Your service will continue without interruption.
Your rates will not change.
Your account number and customer number will not change.
You will receive the same friendly service from the same experienced water employees you know.
Office hours will remain the same, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Most of the options for paying your water bills will remain in place. See all payment options under Pay Your Bill.
If your Mountain Water account was set up for payments to be directly withdrawn from a checking or savings account, this service will not be available with Missoula Water through the transition. All direct debits will stop after June 30, 2017 even if your bill says it will be deducted after that date. We will contact customers when direct debit becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary interruption creates for our customers and will have the service up and running again as soon as possible.
If you recently sent a check for your last Mountain Water bill to the Mountain Water post office box, don't worry. It will reach Missoula Water, and your payment will be credited to your account.
We will update the information on this page as we move ahead. Check with us. And welcome!
