Doggie Dash Fun Run & Pet Expo

Missoula Parks & Recreation and Missoula Animal Control invite you and your four-legged buddy to the 6th annual Doggie Dash pet expo and fun run on Saturday, May 6, at Fort Missoula Regional Park. The free pet expo is from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the 1-mile and 5k races start at 10 a.m.

The Doggie Dash Expo features an agility course, groomers, trainers, dog walkers, boarders, pet retailers, veterinarians and much more. Browse a variety of pet services and gear, and meet featured pets up for adoption from local shelters. Your pooch will have a ball competing in the Last Beggar Sitting Contest, Best Costume Contest, Doggie Musical Sit Contest and the Peanut Butter Challenge.

Runners and walkers may enter one or both races; all paid racers receive a Doggie Dash t-shirt. Kids 10 and under may race for free, but must pre-register. The registration fee for both races is $30 per person. Proceeds benefit homeless pets at Missoula Animal Control.

All dogs must be leashed. To register, visit, call 721-PARK or stop by Currents Aquatics Center.
